When you visit a new space, take a moment to introduce yourself in the public chat or by sending a message to @MaxMorris. (Because of bot activity on Telegram, you may be temporarily removed from a space if you don't introduce yourself. Contact Max for help being added back if this happens.)
We are developing an ongoing collective practice of turning microphones off or on in public chat spaces as well as public channels. This helps us to center voices that might otherwise not be heard. As we move through conversational rhythms together, you may notice randomly that your microphone is off while other portions of conversation are being facilitated. Whenever this happens, consider taking that opportunity to really listen and absorb what is happening in the space. It can be helpful to sit deeply and presently with the experiences others are sharing.
