Open Music • Collaborations for Storybeing 2
Early evening thunderstorm performance of 12 August 2023 now open to public access (with an invitation to daring participants)
Full music and audio from Saturday evening’s restfully-reclining thunderstorm performance is now open to all subscribers and public access.
Listen to the whole song and subsequent spoken commentary here.
We've been discoursing somewhat robustly about musical improvisation and artful self-sourced channeling since 12th August.
These have been frequent subjects of conversation in the network, but there's a new quality to these discussions now.
We have been diligently, joyfully building new opportunities for people navigating survival situations to expand their creative expressions.
Creative activation has been hard for everyone in the Intuitive network — and for most of us, that’s been the case for a very long time.
We have been dedicated to restoring our access to these crucial healing toolsets — singing, making music, intuitive movement, lyricality, collaborative harmony. Artful repartee; performance artistry… meaningful dialogue… stage presence!… and more forms of healing art besides these.
As we continue to repair relational neurology, we get to recognize options that seem to pop suddenly into material existence.
Were these new options possibilities before we’d noticed?
It's hard to say.
It's a little like Schrodinger's cat — though we strongly prefer the experiment not harm or traumatize (or even discomfit) any cats. (Blessings, blessings to cat beings.)
For myself personally, exploring collaborative arts modalities, I notice increased vim for playful practice.
There's something in the core of each of us that knows about this; a secret place in each soul that holds full awareness of the power of engaging with it.
What love songs have you written, in any modality — including music?
How have you composed a melody without sound, just by breathing or moving your body?
What creative art do you engage simply by being who you are, fearlessly and with full honesty?
What are your wishes for your loved ones, your family, and your community?
How will you express these with grace, care, and vitality?
We are organizing ourselves to open our musical processes to more members of the network, more of the time — and to all those following our content streams.
If you’d like to help with this… to collaborate musically or artfully with us in any fashion… we would love to have you along for the show.
Many of us and many of you readers have experienced traumatic isolation; and if not traumatic, still, isolation that has itched and worn at us. It’s been painful to be disconnected from community care, group activities, and attuned relationships.
This kind of isolation is not useful or necessary. Living beings resonate with living beings; creativity thrives in the midst of collaborative fluency.
Play practice, stage performance, feature recordings, visual arts, or any other form of life-affirming participation you can dream up — all of this is “on the table.”
We want to know what moves you and how you feel most moved to share with us.
Commensal musicality allows us to nourish one another and ourselves so much more completely. That’s why this is our priority. :-)
