Every living being has a different pace they need for their process.
Some beings can move very swiftly through a particular process…
…while other beings might find that that same kind of process, or the subject of that process, takes them a lifetime to move through.
When we practice particular care for one another's necessary pacing, we make it much more possible for many more of us to participate in supporting one another and achieving desired recovery outcomes when we've experienced trauma, injury, or compound health challenges.
Even when we just need relief from stress… this is really important.
The pace at which you process or achieve something might be completely different for another person.
Keeping this in mind lets more of us travel pathways together — even if we're doing it asynchronously — because pacing pressure will significantly slow down someone's process (or stop it altogether).
And pacing support that recognizes that individual living being's needs tends to allow that person's process to proceed in the most expedient way.
Whether it's slow or fast, direct, linear, roundabout, or seemingly random…
…it's that person's most necessary form of processing what they're needing or choosing to process.
