Supply delivery routes

Storm damage, route blockage, and creative options

The road to our primary Pittsburgh location is now finally (technically) "open" — but still dangerous because of the downed transformer hanging right out into the road… and low wires with hanging electrical threads.

There are no other access roads.

Each time there is another storm as there was last night and over the past few days, we don't know the current situation until we can drive up there to investigate.

We do, however, have a route by which a colleague can receive purchased items by mail (to his private address, direct from the vendor).

He can drive to another location nearby, then walk supply items to us from a footpath behind the houses without being blocked by blockages on compromised roads.
