Ben Roberts joined us on the Intuitive Public TV!
We simultistream’d this segment on 24 March 2025. 💖
It is a wonderful gift for me each time I get to spend time talking with Ben.
Ben Roberts originally invited me to the Co-Creating A World That Works For All 2024 Global Summit — the 2-phase community event that made such a powerful impression on me and on our Intuitive Network groups last year.
The Global Summit created extraordinary opportunities for inclusion and community engagement, especially for Intuitive group members.
Ben played a central role in designing the digital infrastructure and conversation architecture that supported the summit’s multi-platform, participatory access.
The weaving of technology and dialogue that Ben brought into the 2024 Global Summit, we don’t tire of mentioning, helped facilitate a transformational experience for our community groups.
Multiple modalities, multiple platforms, and layers of access — not common to most digital gatherings! — allowed myself and a number of Intuitive Network colleagues to participate meaningfully in ways we have often been unable to achieve elsewhere.
In this broadcast, we dove into Ben’s work and reflected together on what we’ve been learning. It was an excellent conversation!
Here are some of our segment notes…
Economics as living physiology — the forest, the water cycle, the mycelium; relationships, ecosystems, and many forms of value.
The beauty of multi-capital exchange — seeing economy not just as monetary currency but as shared nutrient flow, relational trust, and ecology.
Collaborative methodology, experimental infrastructure, emergent strategies.
Co-Creating A World That Works For All at Berrett-Koehler’s 2024 Global Summit. (You can still view the summit map here!)
Access and engagement across diverse platforms and user needs, particularly for communities navigating communications barriers, resource scarcity, and structural exclusion.
Ben’s explorations into conversation weaving and cross-pollination in distributed systems.
Open Space Technology and World Café as foundational social processes.
CoFundEco, Ben’s beautiful collaborative funding ecosystem project, which emerged from a group process to produce the Blueprint 8 • Funding Governance for Systemic Transformation document in 2022 in order to explore and define “regenerative funding governance” — an alternative to conventional, extractive models of allocating financial and non-monetary resources.
Peter Block’s “Six Conversations” framework as a tool for building relationship-based infrastructure.
Design philosophy that welcomes complexity and multiplicity — building ecosystems that meet people where they are without flattening or limiting the experience; and strategies that accommodate varied levels of involvement, presence, and language, so that dialogue can occur in many layers of interaction.
Mapping and visualization for resourcing relationships and shared priorities.
Transmuting hardship through dialogue, presence, and shared stewardship.
