The following media peace was written 19 May 2024 and published as a live document at this link. Reach out to Megan Elizabeth with questions, suggestions, and offers of support for the network. Thank you for traveling this adventure with us!
Do you have a story you want to tell, art you want to show, or a performance piece you want to share on public media? Do you want to uplift your voice and the voices of others?
Have you experienced extreme states and been misunderstood by people around you? Do you want to collaborate to facilitate greater understanding about extreme states, disablement, and invisibility in your communities — and inspire resource flow that supports community recoveries?
You're invited to broadcast and publish as part of our kindness-oriented collaborative community media. Intuitive Public Radio and Intuitive Public TV are coordinating audio/video broadcast reels and publishing formats featuring Mad community projects, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
Will you join us?
We're making new media together for our public platforms on Telegram messenger and www.IntuitivePublicRadio.network on Substack, where our co-creations can also travel to other public platforms in our worldwide network.
No experience needed — we're all learning together.
Fact, fiction, and metafiction — song, poetry, and dream resonance — living stories and lived experience — are all invited to participate.
All community members are invited into these collaborations, no matter the disablement or invisibility someone is experiencing (or not experiencing).
This is how we learn more about one another and come to know one another better.
Originally built by-and-for the most disabled and invisible people — especially those most severely affected — Intuitive builds bridges between community members and between communities. Especially, we use our media projects to bridge communication and collaboration between those with severe or invisible experiences and those who are unfamiliar with those experiences.
The Intuitive Network anchors kindness, patience, care, and respect in ongoing community dialogue and collaborative public media. We speak with the collective voice — and our many unique and wondrous individual voices — and work to make it possible for more individuals and families in our communities to not only be more clearly understood, but also to access dearly-needed resourcing.
The origins of our Intuitive Network are deeply aligned with the Mad Movement. Our community members have experienced — and somehow survived — a wide range of different, often severe, forms of psychiatric oppression, coercion, and violence.
We are dedicated to restoring privileges of full-body recovery, resources for well-being, inclusive media access, and vocational vitality for all we can reach. This is the kind of media we make — and we'd love to meet you, especially if you'd like to make this kind of media too.
How do you want to be most fully yourself, share what you know, and flow your truest creative energy?
How do you want to unfurl your gifts for the whole community? What do you most want to say — or sing?
