You are such a shining light in my world in so many ways, sister. I know how you can support me and us, for sure. By being you. And I will send you a Telegram message right now too!
First off, I've never seen a magpie look so soft, receptive hopeful and sad. I'm impressed by the amount of feel in that bird, like you're reaching out to her as you're drawing her and capturing her yes and no in the moment.
Thank you!! It has been a really long time since I was able to sit down and draw. To discover I could still do it is a big birthday blessing. Your feels about it... are very accurate to my feels about it. ✨💖✨
I think that the further we get pulled away from our centres by external force, the less available we are to our experience and our ability to iterate it. I read it as part of the true separation of humanity into alive and not alive. It's like we get driven deeper into ourselves as we get taken out. That's the rub, ya? If we can stay open in the rub of yuck against yum, instead of striving to manage the yuck, we end up in the richness of the ride instead of gritting your teeth against the roughness of the ride and not letting it move through you, relying instead on the cognitive complexity and strategy of the control fantasy. stay in your body and feel what you're feeling instead of doing something to fix it. that's the luxury of not being on the actual edge of dying, ya? not taking our survival strategy out to play in our dancing outfits.

This is a wonderful comment. Thank you so much for exploring this territory with me.
I want to support this area in your life, and the lives of your community. I just don’t know how…
