What a pleasure to welcome Peggy Holman to Intuitive Public TV!
We broadcast this segment on 17 February 2025. After the exceptional experience I and Intuitive Network colleagues had at the Co-Creating A World That Works For All 2024 Global Summit sponsored by Berrett-Koehler Foundation in June and July, I was grateful to get to talk more with Peggy one-on-one and learn more about her work.
In September, Peggy invited my reflections on our Intuitive Network experience of the World That Works summit as part of an illustrated documentation series highlighting this beautiful two-part experiment in self-organizing.
In our Simultistream’d Intuitive Public TV broadcast, I share more close-ups of the wonderful illustration April Doner created based on our conversations.

Here are just a few of our segment notes!
The impact of the Co-Creating A World That Works For All 2024 Global Summit — an exploration of whole-systems change and how it nurtures social co-creation. (You can still view the summit map here!)
Design for the margins — ensuring accessibility and meaningful participation for those often left out; and how this also best supports all community members.
The power of Open Space Technology — how powerful this modality can be! and how it facilitates curiosity, emergence, and deep dialogue.
Strengthening community infrastructure — through shared leadership, presence, and mutual support.
The upcoming World Open Space on Open Space (WOSONOS) conference in Kenya — the 31st annual gathering in Fall 2025 to continue this work globally.
Peggy’s recommendation of Tova Averbuch’s book, Initiating and Inviting Generative Change: Entry and Contracting for Emergent Outcomes in Result Driven Organizations.
Peggy’s article about Emergent Design for Generative Change on Substack.
Appreciative mentions of the transformative contributions of Harrison Owen, the creator of Open Space Technology; and Peggy’s colleagues and collaborators from Berrett-Koehler Foundation & Publishers, the Open Space community, and the WTW Global Summit.
Our ongoing practices in the Intuitive Network are profoundly aligned with these principles. It’s such a joy to deepen our interconnectivity with individuals and communities that value them.
We are especially invested in drawing together even more support for projects at these intersections. Not only is this work truly, fundamentally life-saving… it enriches all community spaces.
When we practice this way together, we build resonating relationships, we implement effective solutions for sticky challenges, and we regenerate collaborative economic vitality.
As we continue refining our approaches to community resilience, emergent design, and Intuitive Network architecture, we are learning so much from one another.
It’s been increasingly clear to me how important Peggy’s work and ways of building community are to all of us, and to our collective visioning of a world that works for all.
