Ooh! A chance for a recap!
In December 2023, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to record a broadcast with Rob Wipond — friend of the Intuitive Network, freelance investigative journalist of more than two decades, and author of one of our very favorite books: “Your Consent Is Not Required.”
Last we checked, Rob’s articles have been nominated for 17 magazine and journalism awards — and he’s an amazing human being.

We were considerably delayed after that by network challenges in late December 2023… through 2024… and much of 2025. But after great striving, we were finally able to set up another broadcast with Rob for the 11th of September 2025, three Thursdays ago, to check in on the past couple of years.
Rijon Erickson co-hosted with me and ran the broadcast infrastructure from the Purple Squirrel Café — making this broadcast possible in a way it never could have been without him.

…Our second broadcast session this month with Rob was broadcast live yesterday, 25 September 2025. We continued to discuss our (near-endless?) list of community-highlighted points. This book contains a beautifully organized presentation from Rob’s research, and has been crucial to survival and recovery of colleagues at the intersections we’re resourcing in the Intuitive Community Media Network.
Rob’s writing foregrounds the voices of people whose experiences are usually dismissed and mischaracterized. An abundance of clear evidence challenges the dominant narrative surrounding involuntary psychiatric interventions.
