Generator = medical food refrigeration
& charged batteries for continuing emergency solutions coordination.
A generator and fuel to run it are our best approach to preserving medically-essential food — to power a freezer and have the option of directly recharging a battery backup for other necessary devices.
Having a generator dedicated to keeping Intuitive Network architecture online is a high leverage step for all the communities depending on us, including collaborators in Pittsburgh.
Two unpowered freezers at one location are currently filled with medical foods.
Much inside them has already advanced through defrosting, some begun to spoil, and variously, safe edibility unknown.
Other locations are similarly affected.
We're grateful for your help to keep our core organizers and community members fed during this time — with the crucial specific medical foods their bodies require — so that our work together can most beautifully succeed.
Here's our immediate shortlist of requested supplies, including the generator and other items that help us continue emergency solutions coordination.
