The immediate shortlist of emergency supplies we're seeking (updated 250505-091000) includes:
A generator and fuel to run it (more details in this post)
A $150 battery pack to power disability aids, communication devices, and related network solutions (this one looks like it will work, and we're open to suggestions if you know of a better option)
2 high durable, high quality flashlights (preferably incandescent bulbs, if we can find them, for very sensitive eyes) and D size batteries, preferably rechargeable if possible
1 headlamp style light (for reaching food and supplies stored in basement rooms where there is no electrical light and both hands must be free for safe navigation)
Rechargeable AAA batteries like these
Charge cables and AC blocks for charging more small battery packs at once when we can get access to a working wall socket or larger battery pack (currently 8 of each requested, different connectors)
Special eye drops for pain relief, specific brand needed
Brown chemical-free bleach-free Seventh Generation paper towels like these (especially while we are still unable to to run laundry machines)
Warm blankets and warm clothing (large sweaters or pullovers, drawstring sweatpants, socks, hats, etc.) because of dropping temperatures with no heat available — 100% wool, cotton, or linen are safe (blends with synthetics not safe for severely affected colleagues; dyes are often also unsafe, can evaluate case by case)
100% organic cotton cheesecloth (undyed, unbleached) is extremely helpful in navigating many different kinds of emergencies
2 hot water bottles (like these ones)
2 bottles of safe specific castor oil (this brand or this brand only)
Funds to replace special medical foods that have spoiled without refrigeration (crucially needed for those not able to digest other foods)
Local coordination to find ice (in the midst of what seems to be an ice shortage across Pittsburgh), and especially to help carry it and get it into freezers and coolers (which requires physical strength) to prevent remaining special medical foods from spoiling and ensure safe storage for replacement foods
Note: Though in all cases, we prefer small businesses instead of Amazon — right now, these supplies are needed on an immediate emergency basis. The swiftest surest delivery of the specific needed items will be the best option.
Thank you so much for your help.

Let's do this thing.
Megan, how are you? I hope your situation in near Pittsburgh is improving! I purchase water bottles for my cats for the winter time. I have two in my cart on Temu, and would be more the happy to purchase them and sent to your address. I’ll contact you at the address you sent! Sending you much love and prayers! ❤️
